While it may be fun, using melee weapons with a necro is asking for trouble, especially if you are casting long spells like Animate Bone Horror and saccing health with BotM. Taking a build like this in a group is borderline disrespectful to your allies as you will almost certainly be a liability to the group, especially since a dead MM means that your allies have to fight against your minions that you leave along with the enemy at hand.

If you are helping a guildmate through Defending the North Wall or Minister Cho's Estate however, this may be a fun way to get through the mission, lol.

Not to mention the interrupts. Interruping minions = suckage, or worse, Botm -shudders-
